Lead inspections
A surface-by-surface assessment that identifies where lead-based paint is present in a property, on which components, and in what condition. Pricing depends on square footage and on the number of rooms and components to be assessed.
When people request it
- Before buying or renting a property built before 1978
- Before renovating, sanding, or demolition work
- After a child has returned an elevated blood lead level
- When paint is peeling, cracking, or chalking
- When a landlord, lender, or agency requires documentation
An inspection tells you where lead is. On its own it does not tell you what corrective work to perform. That is a decision you make with a licensed contractor once you know the facts.
